Digital Archive of Finnish Folk Tunes

A large collection of 8613 Finnish folk tunes collected mostly in the 19th century and published by the Finnish Literary Society in the series Finnish Folk Tunes (Suomen Kansan Sävelmiä), edited by Ilmari Krohn. The collection was digitized by Tuomas Eerola and Petri Toivainen in 2004.

Issues

More metadata available?: looking at the online preview of some of the songs, it seems there is more metadata available: the title, a precise location broken down in parish/village/province/county, the lyrics, booknotes and comments. Perhaps contact the authors for this?
Source translations: BC: my Finish is ehm... rusty. Hopefully I found the right translations of the publication titles in the bibliography.
Cadence field: We are currently ignoring the cadence field. This also seems to contain different types of data. In the KT subcollection you find tempo indications such as Andantino, Andante; in the HS subcollection things like Arkkivirsi, Siionin vk: 129, etc. In LS, what seems like cadence types like AIVb4, A IV a 2 etc.
Language: All songs have language Finnish (finn1318). Hopefully this is correct?
